1. Unstable power supply voltage
Input voltage fluctuations or poor cable contact can prevent the equipment from maintaining its rated power. The power supply lines and voltage regulator should be checked.
2. Coil aging or damage
Induction coils operating at high temperatures for extended periods are prone to oxidation, cracking, or inter-turn short circuits, reducing electromagnetic conversion efficiency. Regular inspection of the coil condition is necessary.
3. Cooling system malfunction
Blockage of the water cooling pipes, abnormal water pump operation, or poor water quality can cause the equipment to overheat and trigger a forced power reduction. The water passages should be cleaned, and the heat dissipation components should be checked.
4. Abnormal load matching
Changes in workpiece material, size, or position can reduce the electromagnetic coupling efficiency with the coil. Parameters should be readjusted, or the coil design should be optimized.
5. Component aging
Hardware wear and tear, such as capacitor bank capacitance attenuation and IGBT module performance degradation, requires professional instrument testing and replacement of faulty components.
It is recommended to prioritize checking the power supply and cooling system, then gradually proceed to check the load matching and core components. Contact a professional repair technician if necessary.
Inductive coil lifespan too short? 3 ways to extend its life!
The inductive coil is the "heart" of heating equipment, and a short lifespan is often caused by the following problems and improper maintenance:
1. Avoid overheating damage
Long-term high temperatures can cause oxidation and deformation of the coil. Ensure sufficient cooling water flow, regularly clean scale, check for water pipe blockages, and monitor water temperature.
2. Reduce mechanical stress
Frequent disassembly or workpiece collisions can cause coil deformation and cracking. Handle with care during operation, reinforce the connection between the coil and the equipment, and prevent vibration loosening.
3. Regular cleaning and protection
Metal dust and oil stains on the coil surface can cause arc erosion. Clean with a soft cloth after shutdown, and apply a high-temperature insulating coating (such as ceramic paint) if necessary.
Additional tips: Avoid overloading (power should not exceed 90% of the rated value); if the coil is locally blackened or the inter-turn gap is uneven, stop using and repair immediately.
Regular maintenance can extend the coil lifespan by 1-2 times and reduce the risk of equipment downtime!
Induction Heating Equipment "Low Water Alarm" Handling Guide
When the equipment displays a "low water alarm," it indicates that the cooling system cannot meet the demand and requires immediate troubleshooting:
1. Check water source and level
Ensure the water tank is full and refill to the standard line;
Clean the water inlet filter to prevent clogging by impurities.
Test the water pump status
Listen to see if the water pump is running (no sound may indicate motor damage);
Touch the water outlet pipe to check the water flow pressure. Insufficient pressure requires repair or replacement of the water pump.
3. Troubleshoot water pipe abnormalities
Check if the pipe is bent, leaking, or clogged with scale inside (focus on checking the joints);
In an emergency, you can temporarily connect a clean water source to flush the pipes.
4. Calibrate the water level sensor
